"Description thing..."

Hallo, this is Adrián but call me Addo. I’m 21 years old. I’m not too young and I’m not too old. I was born on April 7th (best day of the year). I’m medium height and kind of fat. I’ve got short, straight, dark hair and really nice, big, brownish eyes. I get obsessed with the most random things LOL. I listen to music WAY too much and I absolutely love almost any kind of music that I tend to like songs that no one else likes. I have morals and standards even though I’m constantly changing them. I can be mean if I’m in the right mood but don’t take me seriously I would never insult you purposely unless you’re a creep. I love my family, friends, music and AIMing and I hate liars, cheaters, cold-hearted people and people who randomly decide to hate me.

I’m mostly either in the university or in the school for the ELAB, so I don’t have much time to spend on other things that I would like to. So I’m looking for polite, genuine people who understand my lifestyle. I don’t care that much about the physical aspects of that someone so if you want to talk to me just message me and we’ll be in contact :].

Carla's post error correction

domingo 29 de marzo de 2009

I just have time to look 1 thing on this page, it was a link with pronunciation videos. you select a simbol and you could see the video with a woman pronouncing the word in the correct way and giving examples to make the difference between one sound and another.I loved those videos. this year I'm having my first phonetics class and I actually don't know anything about it. I never learn that at school, so it really helped me to start practicing my pronounciation and also to recognize phonetic simbols.I believe this is a very helpfull tool for learning pronounciation, you woul never lear how to pronounce a word just reading and memorazing the simbols. you need to listen to the sounds and also see who the mouth moves when you make that particular sound.I fully recommend those videos. see ya!

Carla Rulez!

Ok, this is a brief review of Carla's blog which in my opinion is fantastic.

Beginning with the name of the blog - Candyshop (Ingenious) - When I saw the name I immediately thought of Carla and her boyfriend selling candies in a shop (well decorated) in the beach, Guess why! Haha yes It's one of her dreams. Also the background color is so her! She loves purple things... So girly even though she's not the kind of girl who loves wearing multicolor clothes LOL. Perhaps that’s why she chose Black as the color of the text on her blog… Yes Black and purple seem to be not that femenine haha, Don’t you think?

Another thing I like is that she has uploaded pictures related to the posts, isn’t it cool? In my opinión this way a blog can be seen alive and not that boring and don’t get me wrong I’m not saying that her blog is drab because it is not at all!

Not everything is perfect in life, so I have to say the things I don’t like of her blog… Well actually there are not many stuff I don’t like about it BUT I would’ve liked that she had uploaded more gadgets such as a clock, calendar, games and so on… Yes I would’ve liked it better!

Well, see you next time!

The right to complain

Dear President:

The main reason of this letter is to complain and try to draw your attention to the enormous and serious problem in the Chilean health system. I'm pretty sure that the people who advise you have kept you abreast of all the factors that have been slowly destroying the hopes that the Chilean society had pinned on you.

The more we try to find something to say is right the more we find out horrible hidden things that are not supposed to be in the spotlight and it's quite discouraging. Everytime I see the news there is a new case of medical malpractice, financing health problems, people defrauded with the prices of medicines, etc. This is something really worrying, How can this be possible? Health care is something basic, or at least it should be, but in this country you can see how these people play with the lives of millions of citizens, they see Health as a lucrative thing  and I do not like it at all, and I'm pretty sure I'm not just speaking for me saying this.

In addition to this I would like to mention the low level of protection that has been given to the elderly. I strongly believe that if the people in churge of the money of this country stop spending money on things like transantiago which is a lost cause there would be money enough to improve this Chilean health system. Is up to you to change our lives mrs. president. Personally I'll keep believing that there is a way to change this mess  untill the bitter end.

My message is: It's time for you to take matters into your own hands.

Yours sincerely,

Adrián Guzmán .-

.What I did at Easter.

Well, actually I don't really care about easter week. I used to do it when I was younger. I remember I was so happy for receiving easter eggs and stuff... But now that I really know what it is all about I don't even care about the easter eggs anymore. I'm like Okay I love this week because friday is a holyday so my weekend starts early and it's so awesome specially because nowadays I don't have much time to spend on things I need such as playing games, watching movies, sleeping well, etc.

So I think you all understood or at least you're guessing what I did those days... Yes... I did sleep a lot... well, not as much as I would have liked but I still did... Yes I watched some movies too... in some way that's why I didn't sleep THAT much actually... And No, I didn't receive easter eggs -I never said that I wanted to get some, okay? Don't laugh about it ¬¬- BUT instead of that I went to my fav pizzeria with some friends and had so much fun there ! It was a blast, seriously. As I haven't had much time lately I hadn't seen them for a while so I could catch up on them.

This is getting kinda boring so see ya'll next time.

Chilean people are so lazy! dontcha think?

Questions:

Why are you so mad?

Why do you say that?

Do you think that happens because of the tv or they don't do anything at home?

What about their work? Do you think that labour hours would be less if they could do their work in few hours?

What about poor people? Do you think they are poor because of the consequences or just because they don't want to do anything?

Don't you think you're generalizing a little bit?
